We are currently running the third temperature experiment in a year. This time we use an axenic strain of the coccolithophore Emilinia huxleyi and we grow it in three different temperatures; 15, 20, and 28°C. We will look at metabolites and gene expressions of the phytoplankton and the co-cultured bacteria Ruegeria pomeroyi.
