We moved to a new house in the middle of July here in Athens. Our contract with UGA housing run out and we now rent a nice condo near Bishop Park. We have a little garden where we grow Okra, tomatoes, beans, and bell pepper.
Initially planned to start 1st of April, now started 1st of July, after three months delay. Finally we known the diatom experiment in 14°C, 20°C, and 28°C, using Thalassiosira pseudonana together with Ruegeria pomeroyi. After months at home, except for monitoring of algal cultures, UGA is now in phase 1 opening stage. This includes masks, frequent hand and surface sanitation, and staggered lab schedules. Anyways, its great to be back!
